Barrel Agency was founded by Lee Cation in 2016 with a focus on growing local British Columbian producers. Lee hails from a farming family and after a 15 year run of Sales and Event Production, Lee’s passion for working with creative entrepreneurs and promoting local continues. By taking a partnering approach to business development, Lee forges meaningful connections with his buyer network and drives sales through multiple channels of communication, tastings and events.

Lee has completed the Wine and Education Spirits Trust WSET Level 2 Certification in Wine and Spirts and has had BeerSavvy Bootcamp and Off-Flavour Beer Training courses from Cicerone.

In his free time you'll find Lee exploring the mountains, cycling, playing soccer, traveling with his wife Kristen, Facetime with his niece and nephews and opening up his home to foster feline from non for profit VOKRA.
